Privacy Policy

When you run an analysis on this site, we collect:

• The URL you submit — the website or marketplace listing you ask us to analyse.
• Your answers — how you own or operate the business, your approximate monthly advertising budget, which marketplaces you sell on, your biggest current challenge, and the level of access you would be willing to grant.
• Your email address, if you choose to provide one.
• Which agents you selected while exploring the product.

Only the URL is required to see a result. Your email address is optional, and we tell you what it will be used for at the point we ask for it.

• Network and device data — your IP address, and the approximate country, region, city, and network provider we derive from it.
• How you reached us — the referring page, the address you landed on, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed (for example utm_source, gclid, or fbclid). This is held in your browser’s session storage for the duration of your visit and saved alongside your submission.
• Usage and interaction data — pages viewed, and session replays and heatmaps of how you interact with the page, collected through the analytics services listed in section 5.

To produce your analysis we read the public web page or listing at the URL you submit and, where available, publicly listed product and search results relating to it. From these we may record the brand name, product title and image, price range, customer rating, review count, sales rank, catalogue size, apparent competitors, tracking technologies detected on the page, and the strengths and issues we identify.

We read only what is publicly published. We do not attempt to access anything behind a login, and submitting a URL does not give us access to any seller, advertising, or analytics account.

• To generate and show you the analysis you requested.
• To create your dashboard account and email you a secure sign-in link, if you gave us an email address.
• To notify our team of a new enquiry and to follow up with you about it.
• To understand which campaigns and channels bring people to the site.
• To diagnose faults, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

If you provide an email address, we create an account for you on our platform and email you a one-time sign-in link that expires after one hour. We store your email address, a display name derived from your brand or the first part of your email address, and your account status. You can ask us to delete this account at any time using the contact details below.

We use a small number of providers to run this site. They process data on our instructions and only for the purposes below.

Supabase

Hosts our database and authentication. Stores your submission, your email address, and your account profile.

Amazon Web Services (Lightsail, US East)

Hosts this website and processes requests to it.

Resend

Sends transactional email — the login link for your dashboard and our internal new-enquiry notification.

Browserless

Loads the public web page at the URL you submit so we can read its published content.

Serper

Retrieves publicly listed product and search results for the listing you submit.

ip-api.com

Converts your IP address into an approximate country, region, city, and network provider.

Google Analytics 4

Measures aggregate site traffic and how visitors move through the page.

Microsoft Clarity

Records session replays and heatmaps of interactions with our pages so we can diagnose usability problems.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies and similar identifiers on your device. Microsoft Clarity additionally records a replay of your session — mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks — so we can see where the page is confusing. We also use your browser’s session storage to remember how you arrived at the site; that entry is cleared when you close the tab.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or enable your browser’s Do Not Track or global privacy control signal. The analysis tool itself works without analytics cookies.

We keep enquiry records and the accounts created from them for as long as we are in contact with you about our services, and afterwards only as long as we need them for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. Analytics and session-replay data are retained according to each provider’s own retention schedule. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent you previously gave. If you are a California resident, you may also request details of the categories of personal information we collect and disclose, and you have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these, email us at the address below. We will respond within the time limit the applicable law sets. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

We operate from the United States and our providers process data in the United States and other countries. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this means your information may be transferred outside your home country; where that happens we rely on the safeguards our providers put in place, such as standard contractual clauses.

We use encrypted connections, access-controlled infrastructure, and managed database and authentication services. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires it.

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Where the change materially affects how we use your personal information, we will take reasonable steps to tell you directly.
